The inspiration for this soap formula arose from my skin's sensitivity to conventional dish soaps. Standard dish soaps contain surfactants derived from petroleum, which produce small, skin-penetrating molecules that can be irritating with a slow half life. To address this issue, we've formulated our recipe using soap ingredients sourced from gentle coconuts. This approach allows us to clean with larger molecules that are less likely to penetrate the skin and readily break down in the environment. Skin sensitivities differ for everyone, but for me this dish soap is the relief I've been looking for after years of rashes on my wrists from using irritating soap.
Our biodegradable formula is perfect for camping, hiking, trekking, boats, RVs, and septic tanks.
